With the summer holidays underway, I know parents in Brighton will be worrying about how to manage childcare over the next six weeks. Schools are closed, and recently expanded hours of free childcare entitlements for younger children are funded only to cover term-time, leaving parents to pick up the gaps in whatever way they can.
