Staff from a Hove business will take part in a fundraising walk on Saturday. Around 25-30 people from PLATF9RM, a co-working office and events company based in Hove Town Hall, are expected to join Walk the Walk a 12.6 mile ramble through Brighton Seafront, Saltdean, the South Downs and Lewes. The monies raised will go to Medical Aid for Palestinians to deliver healthcare and aid in Gaza, and Clocktower Sanctuary for young people experiencing homelessness in Brighton. Tori Rodway, event manager at PLATF9RM, said: “We wanted to create an event in reaction to what’s happening locally and internationally. The theme of the walk is ‘Brighton and Beyond’”. “Fundraising is always a challenge. We have a target of £1500 so we are hoping to smash that!” .
